At Sail Fish Scuba, every trip includes an experienced in-water Dive Guide—not as an add-on, but as a key part of making your dive smoother, safer, and more rewarding. Our guides are experienced professionals who dive with you, not just ahead of you. And we don’t charge extra for it—because personalized service, safety, and attention to detail shouldn’t be add-ons. We intentionally cap our groups at a 7:1 ratio (often fewer) so your guide can focus on what truly matters: you. Your comfort, your skill level, your pace, and helping you make the most of every dive—whether that’s finding hidden marine life, improving your buoyancy, or just giving you space to enjoy the reef.
Now, compare that to what many other shops call a “free dive guide.” In reality, that often means one guide at the front with 10+ or more divers behind them—an underwater traffic jam. These crowded dives can feel rushed, impersonal, and overwhelming. If you fall behind, need to adjust your gear, or just want to pause and take it all in— you're competing with the needs of the others around you. This not only makes it harder for guests to hear or follow instructions, but it also increases the likelihood of unintentional contact—brushing against fins or bumping into others. Large groups are more likely to accidentally disturb or damage the reef. A single misplaced fin kick in a tight group can stir up sediment or harm fragile coral structures.
At Sail Fish Scuba, we limit our group sizes specifically to preserve the reef environment and ensure every diver enjoys a safe, personal, and respectful underwater experience.
With Sail Fish Scuba, your dive experience is time well spent. You’re not just a number—you’re a guest we take the time to know, support, and guide. We’re proud to offer a more relaxed, personalized, and eco-conscious dive experience, led by seasoned professionals who are there for you every step of the way!
