Grecian Proper Reef
Coral Reef Diving in Key Largo with Sail Fish Scuba
Grecian Proper Reef Dive Site Description
On the East side of the Main Grecian Rocks Reef line, is 1 single mooring ball. This is Grecian Proper. Frequently see southern stingrays and nurse sharks at this site. When you first go down the mooring line, you will be in the center of a healthy patch of reef, look around close for giant green moray eels as you navigate around this patch.
Just off this patch to the North you will see 1 huge mound of reef out off the reef line, and it has many opening near the sandy bottom. Look in these holes for eels, and squirrelfish.
Now navigation is super easy for the remainder of the this dive, as you will head South along the sand/reef edge enjoying all the corals and fish along the way, and then move west to a shallower depth of same reef line and make your way back.
