Many parents start their kids in PADI Bubblemaker or PADI Seal Team programs as a first step into the underwater world.

This course allows young divers to earn an official scuba certification while learning the same core skills taught in the adult Open Water course. After certification, junior divers can enjoy underwater adventures with their families while following age-specific safety guidelines.
Younger students benefit from lower student-to-instructor ratios, providing more personalized instruction and added supervision throughout the course.
When a Junior Open Water Diver turns 15, their certification is automatically upgraded to a standard PADI Open Water Diver certification — no additional training required.
As certified adult divers, they can:

Our instructors are certified by the leading scuba and free diving organizations and have years of experience in the industry. We're passionate about sharing our knowledge and helping our customers become confident and skilled divers.

We use only the best equipment from top-quality brands to ensure your safety and comfort in the water. Our gear is regularly maintained and updated to meet the highest standards of safety and performance.

The PADI Junior Open Water Diver course is like the adult certification program but with smaller teacher-to-student ratios and shallower depth limits. To enroll, kids must be 10-15 years old and able to swim. PADI Junior Open Water Divers automatically become Open Water Divers at the age of 15.
The PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification has restrictions to ensure young divers don’t exceed their limits. Divers aged 10 and 11 must dive with a PADI Professional or a certified parent or guardian, and dives cannot exceed 12 meters (40 feet). Divers aged 12 years to 14 years old must dive with a certified adult, and dives cannot exceed 18 meters (60 feet) in depth.

After receiving a PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification, divers aged 12 years and older may continue to gain experience and explore deeper depths by enrolling in more advanced courses. These courses include PADI Junior Adventure Diver, PADI Junior Divemaster, PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver, PADI Junior Rescue Diver, and PADI Junior Specialty courses.

If your child is at least 15 years old, certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver, and have logged at least 20 scuba dives, they are eligible for the PADI Junior Divemaster Course! This course will be a first step into more of a leadership role and learn responsible diving practices in all their diving activities. Some of the segments that are completed during the PADI Junior Divemaster Course can be credited to the full PADI Divemaster certification.
